Hello content creators!
Prologue: Go Wayback! is entering Early Access, and we are watching your streams, videos, clips, and anything we can get our eyes on. Thank you so much for your interest and support!
Please note that our in-game music contains licensed tracks which are copyrighted materials owned by Shutterstock and not owned by PLAYERUNKNOWN Productions.
We have a Streamer Mode setting in the main menu that disables in-game music from both the cassette player and the radio. With music disabled, the radio will give you weather reports and warnings but will no longer play music.
See below for more details on music rights and usage on YouTube and Twitch.
YouTube
You can use the in-game music that plays from the cassette player or radio items during gameplay capture, but your video may receive a copyright claim from ShutterStockMusic.
This copyright claim should not affect your video unless you plan to monetize your video.
If you plan to monetize your video, you can reach out to the Shutterstock team at support@shutterstock.com and request either a monetization ID or ask to have your channel and content added to their allowlist.
We recommend disabling in-game music via the Streamer Mode setting if you plan to monetize your video.
Please do not upload videos with only music and no gameplay.
Twitch
You can use in-game music from the cassette player and the radio regardless of monetization. Music usage should not receive any copyright claims.
